above the clouds the sun is always shining…

… and of course the sky is always blue.
I like this phrase, because I keep it true. It occurs to me when I was making this necklace. That’s why I named it for “Blue Sky”.

So I dressed up a wire square in a light-blue lace-cloth and embellished it with glass and delica beads. The chain, the clip and the wire are from nickel free metal as usual .

“Dijon” is an youthful, airy, summer piece. This was the first time I tried this thread. It is not a really lemon- or sun-yellow rather mustard-yellow. That’s why I called it “Dijon”.
It is an opened pendant, so the wire found has a big swirl figure. In the centre of the pendant I hung 3 yellow glass beads. I added some antrachite delica beads to the lace again. I was affraid to combine these two colours but I saw now that these little beads match to every thread. Tell me if you get fed up with my dark grey delicas, I love them :)

I made this set for my jewelry model – friend – colleauge.
On the silver filled wire I used cyclamen thread with black glass and antrachite delica beads.
I was affraid because of its high colour but I fell in love with it :) It was not the last time I worked with it.
In the centre of the pendant I hung a stamped name disc, just for individuality :)

I had to make earrings to the Midnight necklace I have made for graduation present two weeks ago.
I wanted to make the same figure but smaller and simplier.
At the last time I was in the local bead store, called “Beadpyramid”, I bought a pair of drop figured earrings hoops. They are frames with two holes for findings and beads. It is exciting to use this supplies but I think I mainly will bend wire for pendants and earrings myself because I love to make it!
They have less lace as the pendant have, and in the middle I used one beaded chain:

My Mom loves yellow roses. And everything that’s yellow. So I decided to create her a yellow lace-on-wire pendant and chain for Mother’s Day.
The pattern is the same as I used by the Midnight pendant but different impression and mood.
I used yellow thread and added crystal clear delica beads and yellow glass beads to it.
I think it is so cheerful and vivacious as my Mommy.

I thought about more wire pendant and I found that I would not hide this nice silver wire under the tatted lace. And I thought I would use more chain and bead to the jewelry.
This thoughts moved my fantasy and I started to draw more and more design in my sketchbook.
The first lace-on-wire jewelry is this black pendant on a chain called Midnight. Because of the glass beads and the chains it has a wonderful glance:

I love to mix the various jewelry-making techniques. And I love wire jewelry. Altough I don’t make wire jewelry, but I am curious what can I do with wire in my jewelry.
Earlier I have used some wire at my crocheted jewelry so I had to try it at the tatting too. The pendants got a good keeping by the wire. I can create new, fance figures in this way.

I made this ivy green pendant on wire too. If I look at this pendant, I see a subtle, but logic labyrynth. I used these metalic delica beeds for the first time. They are very shining:
